About The Position

As our entry-level Channel Executive, you will lead the Sage relationship with VAR partners, assisting with pipeline management and daily account operations. To thrive in this role, you will manage a broad portfolio of partners on a one-to-many basis, delivering consistent support and communication, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to drive sales opportunities and ensure successful outcomes. This is a hybrid office environment that meets 3 days a week

Requirements

  • Over 2 years of experience in channel/partner management within the SaaS industry.
  • Deep understanding of subscription-based cloud software business models.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • Familiarity with accounting and CRM software, particularly the Sage product suite.
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions and managing relationships in large, complex organizations.
  • Comprehensive background in channel relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Agree on mutual objectives and track partner performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Guide the Sage partner program, campaigns, and enablement activities.
  • Develop and share knowledge of Sage's core solutions and joint partner value proposition, including relevant Technology partner offerings.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with partners by providing sales and operational support.
  • Collaborate on partner sales calls where appropriate to support in selling the joint value proposition to customers.
  • Opportunity management by supporting with quoting, product information, and deal registration processes, as well as creating a rhythm to develop forecast accuracy.
  • Facilitate partner sales development opportunities with partner-led demand generation e.g., incentives.
  • Assist in promoting partner enablement sessions and events.
  • Help to ensure partners are familiar with Sage's solutions and value propositions.
  • Collect and organize partner performance data for analysis.
  • Contribute to preparing reports for internal stakeholders and partner reviews as required.
