As a Change Management Technician in the Production Test Engineering organization, you will play a critical role in supporting change implementation across hardware, firmware, and test processes. You’ll work closely with the Change Management Program Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of change orders (COs) and maintain production continuity. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing work-in-progress (WIP) products impacted by Change Orders and assessing upcoming shipment volumes to determine appropriate CO cut-in dates. Participating in weekly Change Firmware CO alignment meetings and tracking NPI SKUs for hardware/firmware compatibility. Managing and controlling NPI CO releases within defined time windows to ensure compliance and minimize production risk. Opening and managing change-related JIRA tickets for all test-relevant changes, including: Test flow changes Test configuration changes Test logic changes IT test software changes Customer-driven changes (typically in the form of COs) Documenting change details clearly and translating technical jargon into business-friendly language for stakeholders. Supporting all customers by learning the nature of different products and applying that knowledge to change management decisions. Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure changes are implemented accurately and on schedule. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to bridge technical and business communication. Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years of technician experience
  • Basic knowledge of computer architecture, networking, and storage
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate technical details in clear business language

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with JIRA or similar change management tools
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and test environments
  • Experience managing hardware/firmware compatibility and NPI processes
  • Background in test flow, configuration, or IT software changes
