About The Position

The Change Manager (CM) will drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of changes, and proficiency with the changes that impact OCDIO team members who must use the changes in their daily work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field.
  • Prosci, Certified Change Practitioner, or able to achieve within first year of employment.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience at a healthcare system is required, including a minimum of one (1) year supporting large organizational changes and one (1) year of project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Applies Change Management methodology to assist Leadership and Staff through change in a continuously changing environment.
  • Drives understanding of Change Management and key changes within the organization.
  • Leverages structured Change Management methodologies (e.g., PROSCI) for organization/various audiences.
  • Change Assessment: Complete change assessments and create a Change Management strategy. Work with cross functional teams to assess the impact of the change and evaluate user readiness. Assist in developing and conducting stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, and implementation planning, as well as providing input on the associated risks resulting from the organization's change activities and identifying resolution/action plans.
  • Leadership/Sponsorship Alignment: Build trusting relationships while guiding and coaching leaders and sponsors to establish and maintain the commitment necessary for the change program.
  • Stakeholder Impact: Proactively work with project teams to identify and assess stakeholders in the context of introducing change. Anticipate and manage stakeholder change readiness and resistance challenges and develop mitigation strategies. Provide Change Management coaching to program leaders, and support project teams in integrating Change Management activities into their project plans.
  • Communications: Work with project teams to develop plans and strategies to support the project. Interact with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and translate the information into change activities.
  • Measures the effectiveness of Change Management plans and adoption. Performs routine and ad-hoc Change Management tactics to meet customer needs.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
