About The Position

The Organizational Change Management Consultant play a key role in helping clients enterprise software implementations (change initiatives) meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. They focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility is to create and implement change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement while helping the client build internal Organizational Change Management acumen through mentoring, coaching and follow up.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Prosci certification)
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics and change principles.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing change management strategies. In-depth knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels. Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess the impact of changes and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Project Management: Understanding of project management principles. Experience in managing change initiatives within project timelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using the WalkMe digital adoption platform to develop and manage SAP training materials is highly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP, primarily to help with alignment of OCM to deployment phases is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Primary attention to the people side of change.
  • Execute a structured change management implementation strategy so that there is consistency in adopting change for every employee, every project team, and every department.
  • Identify the most expected and potential points of resistance to change.
  • Develop counter strategies to reduce resistance and address the doubts and uncertainty surrounding the change to foster a positive acceptance of change.
  • Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executives and leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
  • Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Continue to maintain a close engagement with specialists from the HR, training, and communication departments to ensure a smooth transition to change and organization-wide successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Understand the client's business drivers and objectives and drive the project to meet or exceed them.
  • Know the engagement SOW and ensure contractual obligations are met, change orders used and documentation is signed complete and, on the ARGANO PDP, (Project Deployment Platform).
  • Responsible for developing a good relationship with the respective clients, getting inputs from the client and communicating to the team members of the project.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enforce work standards in compliance with the best practices, standards, and procedures of the company.
  • Ensure compliance of the project with the established standards and procedures of the company.
