Change Management Leader - Digital Technology and AI (DTA) Location: Hybrid Role requiring minimum 2 days onsite/per week in San Rafael, CA Reports to: Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) Role Overview This role combines strategic change leadership with operational oversight to support the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) in driving transformation across the organization. The DTA Change Management Leader will be primarily accountable for ensuring that digital, data, and technology initiatives are not only delivered, but fully adopted, embedded, and sustained across the business. The role will lead enterprise change management efforts, driving behavioral, process, and cultural change to maximize the value of digital investments. In parallel, the role will establish strong operational governance, planning, and execution discipline across the CDIO function to enable consistent and scalable transformation. This role acts as a critical partner to the CDIO, ensuring strategic priorities translate into measurable adoption, business impact, and long-term organizational change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
  • 8–12+ years of experience in change management, operations, strategy, or consulting
  • Experience in digital transformation, IT, or data-driven organizations preferred
  • Proven experience working with senior executives and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to execute at pace
  • Deep expertise in change management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
  • High level of organization and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide change and adoption strategies for digital, data, and technology initiatives
  • Define and implement structured change management frameworks (e.g., stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption tracking)
  • Drive adoption and embed new systems, processes, and ways of working to ensure sustained behavioral change
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure ownership and accountability for change within their functions
  • Conduct change impact assessments and develop targeted interventions to address resistance and accelerate adoption
  • Establish and track adoption metrics (e.g., usage, behavior change, business outcomes) and continuously refine approaches
  • Build change capability across the organization through coaching, toolkits, and best practices
  • Partner with the CDIO to define and operationalize strategic priorities and transformation roadmap
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and ownership
  • Monitor progress against strategic objectives and proactively identify risks and dependencies
  • Support prioritization and resource allocation across initiatives
  • Establish and manage operating rhythms, governance forums, and decision-making frameworks
  • Drive annual planning cycles, including goal setting, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility on performance and outcomes
  • Ensure alignment across digital, data, and IT teams globally
  • Act as a key interface between the CDIO and senior stakeholders across the business to drive alignment and buy-in for change
  • Develop and deliver compelling change narratives that clearly articulate the "why," "what," and "how" of transformation initiatives
  • Ensure consistent, transparent, and targeted communication to support engagement and adoption across all levels of the organization
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to champion change and reinforce accountability for adoption outcomes
