About The Position
Position available Soccer coach for children ages 2-5 What is TinyTykes? TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2 – 5. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through you teaching them fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills. Information TinyTykes offers flexible part-time working hours and the opportunity to work in a rewarding and fun environment. Classes typically take place at preschools and sport complexes and run for 8 week blocks. TinyTykes are looking for coaches to begin working throughout the year for an 8 week block of sessions. This may also open up future opportunities within the company. Coaches will be provided with uniform, equipment, training and a curriculum to follow. Compensation $20 - $35 per class. Location Sessions are run both indoors and outdoors at various preschools & P&R locations. Times Classes run Monday through Friday & on weekends. Each class lasts 45 minutes. What is the Challenger Soccer Academy? Challenger Soccer Academy offers professional year-round coaching to recreation and/or competitive players and teams aged 5 - 18 years old.
Requirements
- Must have certified Early Childhood Education (ECE) units to be considered.
- Must have EXPERIENCE working with children of this age group.
- Must have up to date current FIRST AID procedures.
- It is essential you are PERSONABLE with a highly ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC personality when engaging with the children and colleagues you create relationships with.
- Must have your own TRANSPORT.
- Must complete a BACKGROUND CHECK.
- Must have US Work Authorization
Nice To Haves
- PLAYING EXPERIENCE in soccer is preferred but not required.
