Helimax Aviation, Inc. is seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for the position of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for the CH-47D helicopter. This role is critical to our operations, and the selected candidate will be responsible for flying the CH-47D on a rotating schedule. The position requires maintaining proficiency as a CH-47D Pilot-in-Command and representing Helimax Aviation in a professional manner to all customers. The successful candidate will also be required to attend initial and recurrent training at the company headquarters to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Additionally, the pilot will be responsible for completing all required paperwork as assigned, which is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring operational efficiency. The role demands a high level of skill and experience, as the pilot will be expected to operate in various conditions and locations, often with limited notice. The ability to travel on demand to remote locations is a key requirement of this position. The ideal candidate will possess a clean pilot history and have a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command. Furthermore, the candidate must be type-rated on the CH-47D/BV234 and have logged at least 100 hours in the last 12 months in this type of aircraft. Proficiency in using a 200' long line is also necessary for this role. While an ATP license is preferred, at a minimum, candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot's license with an Instrument Rating. Knowledge of basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office are also required, along with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the demands of this position.
