The CFS Clinician works with a variety of clients with behavioral health disorders and assist them in becoming as healthy and engaged as possible in the community, using recovery language and principles. The CFS Clinician is responsible for providing assessment, direct clinical intervention, and supportive consultation to child, adolescent, and adult family members presenting with a wide variety of emotional, behavioral and co-occurring disorders. Delivery of therapeutic services in the office, school, and community, to child, adolescent, and adult family members will be emphasized, including ongoing consultation and collaboration with collateral agencies (schools, agencies, caseworkers, etc.). The team member in this Job will be required to work with the Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), education (school), inpatient facilities, mental health residential facilities, and other systems of care in developing holistic, strength based, recovery oriented therapeutic plans to maintain children and adolescents with significant mental health problems in the community.
