About The Position

The Part-Time CFO will oversee financial activities for a client in the Lower Fairfield, CT area, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This role requires preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance financial processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO, Chief Financial Officer or relevant role, with over 10 years in the field.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Fund Accounting, and Consolidations is a must.
• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, including NAV calculations and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV calculations for funds under management.
• Manage financial consolidation processes for sub-entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with international teams to align accounting practices and ensure consistency.
• Apply expertise in small business finance to optimize cost control, financial efficiency, and operational scalability.
• Utilize visual software tools to create dynamic financial dashboards and reports.
• Continuously enhance reporting processes through automation and data visualization.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.
