About The Position
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to support the design and optimization of advanced nuclear reactors for the U.S. Navy. This role involves developing and evaluating new design concepts using state-of-the-art CFD methods and software, while also leading and mentoring junior engineers. The successful candidate will work within a multi-discipline reactor design team, focusing on defining design spaces and evaluating reactor core cost versus performance trade-offs.
