About The Position

Field Services Technicians perform tasks associated with hazardous and non-hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, facility & equipment decontamination, above ground and underground tank cleaning activities, and confined space entry projects. Traveling to work sites all over the southeast.

Requirements

  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Experience in construction preferred or related industry.
  • High School Diploma / GED preferred; Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to travel 35% of the year.
  • Ability to use heavy, light, and handheld equipment (forklift, track hoe, backhoe, skid steer, etc.).
  • Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.
  • Must exercise good judgement and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to pass respirator fit test and maintain respiratory clearance.
  • Ability to be 'On-call' and work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety policies and processes are always followed.
  • Operate light and heavy equipment such as pumps, vacuum equipment, generators, pressure washers, skid loaders, and hand power tools.
  • Perform work activities related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
  • Work in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive.
  • Work in confined spaces above & below ground and on & under equipment.
  • Work at elevations including working from ladders, scaffolding, and power lifts.
  • Complete associated paperwork, including but not limited to daily worksheets, tailgate safety sheets, vehicle inspections, equipment inspections, and Health and Safety requirements & permits.
