Certified X-Ray Tech - Full-Time
About The Position
We are seeking a Full-Time Certified X-ray Tech for our Lake Elsinore location. This individual will be responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care duties which include: Assist patients in preparation for x-ray procedures. Take and develop x-rays using correct positioning, shielding, equipment, and procedures. Process exposed film, critique film, ensures that films are promptly and correctly supplied to the radiologist to be read. Maintain the film library and file films as needed. Complete all paperwork including charge slips, logs, etc. Appropriately notify nurse or physician of abnormalities in x-ray reports. Perform clerical procedures associated with radiology as needed and directed, including the scheduling of appointments, ordering supplies, etc. Ensure that films are released to the requested facilities supplying properly completed release forms. Must attend mandatory meetings. Must have the ability to travel between all APLUS locations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Certified X-Ray Technician.
- Current CRT (Certified X-Ray Tech) required. ARRT (AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGISTS) preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Current California Driver's License required.
