Requirements

• BSN graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two years of related clinical nursing experience.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Graduate of an accredited Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nursing Education Program.
• Board certification in Wound and Ostomy care.

Nice To Haves

• Continence Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of WOC Nursing program development and teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Serves as a clinical resource and consultant to the nursing staff in the care of patients with ostomies, fistula tubes, dermal wounds, incontinence, and other disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems.
• Assists in staff development, staff education, and patient education related to care.
