About The Position

TRC is seeking an Inspection position that provides distribution and/or transmission support for client 3rd party contractor work on existing assets and facilities. This position will perform inspection as related to general gas line construction/testing to ensure customer specifications are met.

Requirements

• API 1169
• AWS CWI
• 3 ½ years' experience
• Union Member IBEW 1245
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Capable of maintaining a high energy level to handle a dynamic, fast-paced workload
• Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Inspect structures as related to gas line construction/testing and ensure customer specifications are met
• Responsible for and performs visual welding inspections of contractor's work
• Inspect pipe installations, care of pipe being constructed, responsible for radiographic documents, weld numbers and assigned welder Id Numbers, etc.
• Coordinate and inspect contractors work for job quality to determine structural soundness and compliance with specifications, building codes, and other regulations
• Inspections may be general in nature or may be limited to a specific area, such as Gas Pipe systems, Trenching and/or Shoring
