The Operator will be required to set-up, adjust machines, and equipment to produce an acceptable quality product. The role involves performing all required quality tests, certifications, and production checks as mandated by Quality Assurance or the supervisor. The Operator will continually visually inspect the product, record production as required, report/record scrap, and undertake various duties or rework as assigned. Additionally, the Operator will need to make routine equipment adjustments to ensure the process is efficient and welding meets company standards at all times. Manual repairs or hand welding of products that are below standard due to tolerance variables during robotic operations will also be required. The Operator must know how to operate an overhead crane, forklift, hand-held grinder, and other departmental equipment.
