About The Position

Requirements

• 6G certification is required, with proof of certification needed.
• At least 5 years of experience in welding is required.
• Valid driver's license is required upon hire and as a condition of continued employment.
• Knowledge of methods and materials common to Process Maintenance maintenance and construction trades.
• Ability to safely lift 75-100 pounds frequently using proper lifting techniques.
• Experience using electrical or manual tools such as saws, squares, and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mining and industrial environments.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques, including Arc welding.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6G welding on pipes at a 45-degree angle, executing horizontal, flat, vertical, and overhead welds.
• Use a variety of welding equipment and procedures, including TIG and MIG.
• Read and interpret technical documents and drawings accurately.
• Measure and cut materials to specifications before welding.
• Repair machinery and components through welding techniques.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws and ensure quality standards are met.
• Promote safety as the company's number one priority and comply with all safety regulations.
• Maintain required certifications and knowledge of safety standards.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
