Raintree Pet Resort & Medical Center – A Look Inside We are a well-established, AAHA accredited, full-service GP and Urgent Care hospital with a legacy of excellence and loyal clientele. We treat dogs, cats, and all kinds of exotics. Our state-of-the-art facility features two dedicated DVMs and an experienced support team committed to the highest standards of care. We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. We are a surgery-heavy hospital. We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in-house laboratory and ultrasonography. As a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Arizona Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) state license.

Responsibilities

  • Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
  • Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
  • Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
  • Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
  • Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
