Requirements

Current CVT credential in Wisconsin
2+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred (New graduates welcome to apply!)
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, induction, and recovery
Ability to accurately triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories
Solid technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures
A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
Commitment to continued learning, growth, and professional development
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Dental experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab procedures
Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
Take and process radiographs
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
Provide nursing care and patient monitoring
Educate clients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital
