As we continue to grow, we’re looking for CVT’s who are passionate about patient care, teamwork, and advancing their skills in emergency medicine. Our typical cases include toxins, foreign bodies, urinary obstructions, respiratory illness, and traumas. Requirements

A credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)
Has strong technical skills and a desire to keep learning
Advocates confidently for patients and clients
Communicates with compassion during stressful, emotional situations
Enjoys mentoring and supporting teammates
Takes pride in accurate, thorough medical documentation
Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced emergency environment
Experience in general practice, emergency, or specialty medicine is welcome; we’re happy to help you grow into emergency care if that’s your next step.

Responsibilities

Perform initial triage and collaborate directly with our DVM’s
Review treatment plans with owners and answer questions with empathy and clarity
Place IV and urinary catheters, NG tubes, central lines, and PICC lines
Apply splints and bandages
Run and monitor anesthesia for surgical procedures
Oversee and perform hospitalized patient treatments
