About The Position

The Learning Experience located in EWP is looking to hire P3 Certified Preschool Teachers (general education) for our Universal Pre-k (UPK) program in 2026/27 school year. Preschool Teacher – Gen Ed. Job Description: ● Instructional Planning: Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons tailored to the needs of each child. ● Collaboration: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. ● Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and monitor the progress of children, adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as needed. ● Behavioral Management: Implement behavioral management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive social skills. ● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and communication with parents and other team members.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in Education/ECE.
  • Certification: Possession of appropriate P-3 teaching certification in New Jersey.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Patience and Empathy: Patience and empathy are essential qualities when working with young children who have diverse learning needs.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and communication.
  • (May possibly qualify for this position with CEASE certificate)
