About The Position

The Bibb County School District is now accepting applications for the 2022 - 2023 school year for the position of 21st CCLC Certified Tutor. This role is part of the Before and After School Programs and involves providing and implementing planned instructional activities for students. The position requires flexibility in hours and participation in staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years old
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Georgia Teaching Certificate required
• Must understand how children and adults learn
• Must possess computer and associated technology skills
• Must have experience in project implementation
• Must have experience working with and knowledge of community resources

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining daily student attendance reports for assigned students
• Maintains and follows accurate record keeping in compliance with procedures when assigned to the front desk
• Responsible for developing, planning, and implementing a variety of student instructional activities
• Responsible for behavior management of students
• Follows daily time schedule as assigned by the director
• Knowledge of and follows the site safety procedures
• Attends and participates in After School Program staff meetings and required training sessions
• Assumes other duties as assigned by the site manager
