About The Position

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. As a Montessori Certified Guide you are an expert in: Sharing An Authentic Montessori Experience, implementing the Montessori curriculum and facilitating engaging interactive learning experiences. Following all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Teaching and Communicating, developing your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. Gaining Knowledge through ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.

Requirements

• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred)
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field
• Previous lead teacher experience preferred
• Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply
