About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Therapy Assistant to join our Home Health team at Logan Health. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of licensed therapists, following Montana state practice regulations, Medicare guidelines, and Logan Health policies. This position plays a key role in supporting patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life. Our Mission : Quality, compassionate care for all. Logan Health has updated the wage scales for our Therapist Assistant positions. The new pay range, based on years of experience, is now $27.50 to $37.13 per hour.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), or Graduate of a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Current Montana license as a Physical Therapist Assistant , or eligible and licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in Montana within 90 days of employment (or at the next available exam opportunity).
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning clinical software systems.
  • Critical thinking and adaptability in a dynamic home health environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a therapy assistant preferred , especially in home health or outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy services in accordance with individualized treatment plans established by the supervising therapist.
  • Modify and progress treatment plans based on patient response and clinical judgment.
  • Administer therapy interventions appropriate to the patient’s age, condition, and cultural background.
  • Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner and according to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the care team and leadership on care planning and discharge recommendations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using therapy tools, techniques, and equipment appropriate to the home health setting.
  • Meet productivity and documentation standards while ensuring quality patient care.
  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to ethical and institutional standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with role and qualifications.
