How you’ll make an impact in this role Sterile Field Optimization: Expertly prepare operating suites by coordinating sterile drapes, solutions, and specialized instrumentation to ensure a seamless surgical environment. Intraoperative Technical Support: Provide proactive assistance to the surgical team by precisely managing instrument transitions and anticipating surgeon needs throughout complex procedures. Comprehensive Patient Care: Facilitate safe clinical outcomes through meticulous attention to patient transport, anatomical positioning, and sterile draping protocols. Aseptic Integrity & Inventory Control: Maintain rigorous organization of the surgical field while performing precise counts of instruments and supplies to uphold the highest standards of patient safety What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. One or more of the following required: Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
