About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment. The CST will assist surgeons and the surgical team by ensuring proper preparation, instrumentation, and sterile field maintenance throughout procedures.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Strong experience in multiple specialties including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, vascular, and GYN
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique
• Anticipate surgical team needs to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain and monitor sterile field throughout procedures
• Perform surgical counts and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Handle specimens according to policy and procedure
• Clean and restock operating rooms following procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia staff to ensure optimal patient care
