About The Position
Certified Surgical Technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses. SHIFT: Monday-Friday. No call, nights, weekends or holidays. Full benefits package available
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
- CST certification, or based on state regulations, they may be grandfathered in, without being certified
- Must be certified in Basic Life Support
Nice To Haves
- Prefer 1-2 years clinical experience in an operating room setting.
- May accept 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field
