A surgical scrub technician is completely proficient in scrubbing all operating room procedures, and further possesses the capability to prioritize and organize their workload as delegated by their Supervisor. Scrub Tech also must demonstrate proficiency in the provision of quality patient care and efficient assistance to surgeons. The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. Requirements

• Graduate of a school of surgical technology required.
• One year previous experience preferred.
• Certified in CPR from AHA or ARC.

Responsibilities

• Scrub all operating room procedures proficiently.
• Prioritize and organize workload as delegated by Supervisor.
• Provide quality patient care.
• Assist surgeons efficiently.
