About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the operating room by preparing for surgeries, assisting surgeons, and ensuring that all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to respond quickly to the dynamic environment of the operating room. The role is specifically for weekend night shifts and offers significant sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Basic Life Skills Certification (BLS); must obtain within the first 30 days of hire
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery- Certified (TS-C) or Certified First Assistant (CFA)

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for incoming surgeries
• Assist the surgeon in the operating room
• Inventory surgical instrumentation and supplies prior to an operation
• Recount surgical instruments and supplies at the end of an operation
• Sterilize equipment and stock up on necessary supplies
• Perform all other assigned duties related to attending the operating room

Benefits

• $15,000 Sign On Bonus with 2 year agreement after orientation
