Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.
• NBSTSA certification required.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Demonstrated technical skills, planning, flexibility, organizational skills, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assists with contracts and negotiation of physician managed care contracts, analytics, and financial modeling.
• Coordinates physician enrollment in managed care plans.
• Ensures compliance of managed care companies with negotiated contracts.
• Follows-up and resolves payment issues with Insurance Payors.
• Acts as a liaison between physician offices and Insurance Payors.
• Schedules, coordinates, and documents for all PHO related meetings.
• Creates and maintains tracking logs for Insurance Payor issues and accountability for closing out items.
• Oversees PHO phone line, answers and responds to inquiries, and assists with urgent physician office issues.
• Maintains satisfactory attendance record.
• Reports for duty punctually.
• Adjusts to changing situations and work assignments.

Benefits

• Base pay scale of $41.58 - $48.43.
