The position of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) involves functioning as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures, participating in ongoing educational and competency activities, and precepting staff to the surgical technician job duties. This role is essential in our Magnet Designated hospital, recognized for its excellence in patient care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
• Must present and submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities.
• Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses, and students.
