About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) to support a high-volume Adult Operating Room in Syracuse, NY. This role is best suited for professionals with strong experience in trauma and multi-specialty surgical environments who thrive in fast-paced acute care settings.

Requirements

• Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within the last 4 years)
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or similar acute care settings preferred
• Proven ability to scrub across multiple surgical specialties
• First-time travelers considered with strong acute care experience
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms in compliance with established protocols
• Scrub in and assist surgeons during a variety of procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper instrument sterilization
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
• Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments efficiently
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations
• Complete accurate documentation of procedures
