Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• CPR certification.
• Thorough knowledge of operative procedures, surgical equipment, and instrumentation.
• Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to ensure rapid response times when on call.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of hospital surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scrub person during surgical procedures, ensuring instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready and sterile.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, using advanced techniques to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and provide seamless intra -operative support.
• Assist in maintaining the sterile field and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
