About The Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, 27614 Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday, Thursday, and Friday Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Pay Range: $42/hr - $50 per hour on a W2

Requirements

• Must have recent, hands-on scrubbing experience in a hospital OR setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and surgical procedures.
• Ability to stay focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• COVID-19 Vaccination — Required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures in accordance with facility protocols and physician preferences.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to provide safe, efficient, and quality care.
• Maintain surgical counts (sponges, instruments, sharps) to ensure patient safety.
• Support operating room turnover and sterilization procedures as required.
• Adhere to all infection control standards, policies, and guidelines.
