What you can expect from this role Flex CST is deployed across all Children’s Surgical services and is essential for maintaining adequate staffing during planned and unplanned absences, periods of elevated surgical volume, and routine daily operations. The Pediatric Surgery Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) supports pediatric surgical procedures in the operating room by ensuring sterile technique, instrument readiness, and efficient case flow. This role works closely with pediatric surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative teams to support safe, high-quality surgical care for pediatric patients.

Requirements

• HS/GED
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification
• Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• OR Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
