About The Position

Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
Preparing the patient for surgery
Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation 
Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery

Requirements

• A graduate of an accredited surgical technician program and surgical technician certification.
• BLS/CPR and CST Required
• ACLS required
• CPI required
• Need at least 2 yrs of ST experience
• may need to float to other hospitals within a 40 mile radius
• 2 Professional References
• On call required
• COVID VACCINE AND FLU SHOT REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• prefer some robotic, cardiothoracic and general cases experience
