About The Position

Professional Performance Development Group (PPDG) is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to support surgical services at Madigan Army Medical Center.

In this role, you will work alongside surgeons and clinical teams in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment, playing a critical role in patient safety and surgical success.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP/ABHES) or military equivalent
• Certification Required: CST (NBSTSA), TS-C (NCCT), or qualifying military MOS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Surgical/OR Tech experience
• BLS Certification (current) required

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields
• Assist surgeons during routine, complex, and trauma procedures
• Handle and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly in critical situations
• Perform accurate surgical counts to ensure patient safety
• Support OR setup, patient transport, and post-op processes
