About The Position

Cottage Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team in Woodsville, NH. This is a full-time, on-site role with a Monday–Thursday schedule (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) plus on-call, offering a great work-life balance in a close-knit, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will support safe and efficient surgical care by preparing instruments and equipment, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons during procedures. You’ll ensure all supplies are ready, perform accurate counts, and help maintain patient safety throughout each case. Additional responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning and transfers, cleaning and processing equipment (including endoscopy scopes), and supporting efficient room turnover. You’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a Certified Surgical Technologist (or eligible) with technical training and preferably 1–2 years of experience, though we are open to training the right person. You should be detail-oriented, team-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
