About The Position

The Certified Surgical Technician (CST) SPL Specialist position is a PRN role in a fast-paced, high-volume surgery department at Texas Health Fort Worth Harris. The department averages 75 surgeries per day and is known for its robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. The candidate will be involved in high-acuity and intense surgical procedures, providing excellent clinical experience.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification.
• 2 years of recent experience in a surgical service specialty (robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology).
• Minimum of 150 cases performed in the specialty.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-acuity surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with robotics and complex spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures as a Certified Surgical Technician.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
