About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the General Surgeon, OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, maintains the sterile field in the operating room, being constantly vigilant to see that proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection and assists the surgical team as the sterile member who passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery. T will be clinic hours as well as OR time but call is a requirement. Call will be 10-15 days per month.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least two year's of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Must have a high energy level with ability to work under stress of the operating room atmosp and exhibit emotional maturity, stability, and flexibility
• BLS certification required
