About The Position

The Certified Surgical Tech (CST) position at AdventHealth involves contract assignments primarily during the day shift. Requirements

• 2 years of relevant CST experience
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Successful completion of an accredited school for Surgical Technology
• Certification as Surgical Technician
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and management of supply inventories and surgical equipment.
• Ensure operating room suite readiness for surgical procedures.
• Provide clinical and technical assistance during operative and invasive procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of surgical instrumentation and prepare complex mechanical devices as needed.
• Stay updated on new products, procedures, and physician techniques.
• Support Surgical, CVOR, and GI services to ensure a safe patient/staff environment.
