We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Certified Surgical Scrub Technologist to join our growing Surgical Services department. You will join a collaborative and dedicated team of surgical professionals working within a department that features seven pre- and post-operative beds, three large surgical suites, and a specialized GI surgical suite. Additionally, our team supports an operative suite within the Family Birthing Center. Compensation: $33.26 - $45.62, DOE Job Summary: Full-time, shared rotating call required; a call weekend every 4th - 6th weekend. What You’ll Do: Work in an environment where patients receive surgical interventions in the specialty areas of: General Surgery with Robotics, Podiatry, Orthopedic trauma & total joint replacements, Ophthalmology, OB-GYN with robotics, ENT/Head & Neck. Scrub Techs and First Assistants, within their scope of practice; optimize provision of surgical patient care through appropriate use of techniques Ensure surgical conditions optimization via surveillance of medical equipment Effectively collaborate with Hospital staff and medical staff members toward provision of pre-operative, inter-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA. Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Work well with a team and have the ability to function in a fast- paced environment
  • Current unencumbered CST
  • Current BLS required
  • 1-year experience required

Nice To Haves

  • 2-years multi service line experience preferred
