About The Position

The Surgical Technologist First Assistant (CSTFA) provides care during the perioperative phase and maintains a high level of communication, collaboration, and interaction with physicians and other health team members. Will perform CSFA interventions under the direction and supervision of the operating surgeon in accordance with the NBSTSA and state scope of practice requirements consistent with the mission of the hospital.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant.
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist, or (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience required.
