As a substitute, your schedule can be flexible and meet your own individual work needs. An automated substitute system helps you manage your work schedule by allowing you to pick up assignments any time, day or night. The system uses your subject area, grade level and location preferences to offer you jobs on the days you have selected and allows you to change the days you work.

Requirements

• MUST have a current Substitute Certificate from the Professional Teachers Standards Board in the State of Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills.
• Document teaching and student progress, activities and outcomes.
• Address specific educational needs of individual and groups of students ensuring a safe and optimal learning environment.
• Provide feedback to students, teachers, and administration regarding student progress and expectations.
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
• Translate lesson plans into learning experiences to best utilize the available time for instruction.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning, and modify instructional methods to fit individual student's needs, including students with special needs.
• Conduct individual small group instruction as needed.
• Ensure that student conduct conforms with the school's standards and school district policies.
• Maintain standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
