About The Position

The primary responsibility of this position is instructing student athletes in sport specific strength and conditioning exercises. This role involves providing individual and group instruction in strength and conditioning exercises with special attention to creating plans specific to a specific sport. The instructor will implement these plans while adhering to all NCAA bylaws and supporting all rules, conditions, and regulations set forth by Framingham State University, Conference affiliations, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association pertaining to all aspects of the team's management. Additionally, the instructor is designated as a Campus Security Authority under the Clery Act.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association
• Minimum of 1-2 years of strength and conditioning experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences (i.e., students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, administration and community)
• Ability to work evening, weekends, and holidays as playing and practice season schedule dictates.
