About The Position
Position entails the receipt, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and hospital equipment. Will perform and document biological testing, properly operate all department sterilizers and accurately label each sterilizer item. Technician is knowledgeable of The Joint Commission (TJC) and American Association of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI).
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in Central Sterile or Operating Room experience preferred
- Central Sterile Certification preferred
