About The Position

Full Time Sterile Processing Tech (SDP) Physicians' SC of Tidewater is a state-of-the-art multi-specialty surgery center committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a comfortable and efficient environment. We take pride in our team of dedicated healthcare professionals who contribute to the success of our patient-focused approach. The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
