About The Position

The Certified Sterile Processing Tech I is an entry level position responsible for collection, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for patient care. Collaborates with leaders and other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient care is provided. Maintain the department work surfaces cleaned and organized. Joint Commission, DNV and CDPH ready at all times.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience preferred as Hospital Central Sterile Supply Technician.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• HSPA-Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (CRCST) or CBSPD- Certified Board Sterile Processing Distribution (CSPDT) required.
