As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work in a hospital-based pharmacy setting, blending the pace of retail with the purpose of specialty care.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- National Certification (PTCB or NHA) – contingency start may be considered for the right candidate
- 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience (5+ years preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Providing exceptional service at the pick-up counter
- Answering patient calls and assisting with medication-related questions
- Supporting pharmacy operations using systems like Epic and Willow Ambulatory
- Collaborating with a team that values empathy, communication, and excellence
- Help patients overcome barriers to medication adherence by supporting financial assistance efforts and simplifying complex healthcare processes.
