We are looking for applicants with PSIA or equivalent certification with this posting for the 2026-2027 season. If you do not have prior certification, please do not apply to this posting. The general posting will go live in Summer of 2026. This posting services both the Kids and Adult sides of our ski school. Our Winter employment dates are roughly November 23rd - April 21st. We have seasonal full time and part time positions available. Job Description The purpose of the Yellowstone Club SnowSports Instructor is to provide ski instruction to members ages 2 to 99+ years old.

Requirements

  • Current PSIA Member with minimum of PSIA Level 1, Children’s Specialist 1
  • 2 Seasons instructing experience.
  • Must be available to work winter break in December, Presidents Weekend, and Spring Break.
  • Strong Intermediate to Advanced Skier
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Explain and demonstrate technical ski concepts in a safe, fun, and professional manner using a variety of interactive teaching methods based off age, learning style, and ability of the student within the guidelines of Yellowstone Club Snowsports School and PSIA.
  • Teach a wide variety of lessons from first-time skier’s to advanced students and everything in between.
  • Set lesson plans based on Members and/or guests needs.
  • Summarize with students at the end of the lesson, to include reviewing skills worked on and progress made.
  • Uphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions.
  • Ensure that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.
  • Help with completion of other mountain tasks, including but not limited to set up and tear down of on mountain props. Building and installing interactive on mountain content.
  • Actively participate in our Yellowstone Club Training program to meet our required training and PSIA event participation requirements.
  • Maintain Current and active membership in PSIA.
  • Read and understand all safety and operating policies and procedures. Ask a supervisor/manager for clarification on any policy or procedure if needed.
  • Assist in cleaning of locker room and other shared areas.
