About The Position

This position installs and maintains wiring, control, and electrical systems. Inspects electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identifies electrical problems with a variety of testing devices. Repairs or replaces wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools, as assigned by job.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in the service industry, skilled 120 to 480 volts, a current California Certified General Electrician Card REQUIRED.
  • Please, NO Electrical Trainees.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 certified
  • NFPA 70, 70B, AND 70E knowledge
  • Advanced Lighting Controls experience. O/S, Daylight sensors, LCPs, basic controls programming
  • Computer literate
  • Low Voltage experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation, main wiring, control and repair of electrical systems
  • Interfacing with customer, inspectors and scheduling department
  • Experience in Service, Commercial and Industrial projects
  • Proficient with NEC
  • Responsible for installing and managing lighting controls
  • Able to trouble shooting electrical shorts
  • Able to install dedicated circuits and low voltage cabling
  • Responsible for repairing general lighting concerns
  • Follow work orders and coordinate with co-workers
